On 17th of November 2010 in Belgrade, Serbia was held a meeting of the SCENet FB Clusters Board. There were agreed common activities for enhancing business of clusters members and extending of the network.

General: Congress of the Sawmill industry of Southeast Europe

At October 28th 2010, first Congress of the Sawmill industry of Southeast Europe was held in Slavonski Brod, a border town in eastern Croatia, which attracted more than 300 representatives from the sawmill industry of Balkan countries, as well as Croatian and Slovenian. Congress was held under the motto 'Low technology investments and a lack of raw material: Can the local sawmill survive?'. For more see: http://www.see-sawmill.com.

Slovenia: Matchmaking event of Serbian and Slovenian woodworking companies

On 20. and 21. September 2010 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was held a Matchmaking B2B event between Serbian and Slovenian woodworking companies, co-organized by side of Wood Industry Cluster (SI) and CCIS-Wood Processing and Furniture Association (SI) and Agency for Wood (SRB).Next similar evant is planned between 15 and 17 November on Belgrade Furniture Fair.

On 27th of August 2010 in Klagenfurt, Austria was held a meeting of the SCENet FB Clusters. There were paved activities for the next year with aim to enhance further development of the network and to clusters' associated companies.

Austria: IN2WOOD Meeting on board!

On 26th of August 2010 in Klagenfurt, Austria was held first Meeting of the European Forest Cluster Cooperation Initiative developing in the frame of FP7 Region of Knowledge project IN2WOOD.The integration of cluster initiatives in Southeast Europe is a particular concern of IN2WOOD. A first meeting of the IN2WOOD consortium with stakeholders from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania at the Klagenfurt Wood fair shall prepare the ground for further cooperation.

Austria: Architectural and construction conference in Belgrade

On 17th June 2010 in Sava Center, Belgrade, Serbia was held an architectural and construction conference on theme "Innovative with wood in urban areas".The Congress reported over 650 interested parties, while over 400 people visited a congress. A good turnout and attendance Congress tell us that interest in environmental and innovative materials definitely exists in Serbia.

Croatia: 4th International Cluster Conference
